Looie and Bradley et al!

I thought while I was here I would vist one of my 'old' friends who moved here with her family a couple of years back, Anne Louise and I go away back but have not really seen much of each other in the last ten years or the last 5 children to her and Bradley! I must admit, I must be some sort of bad friend as she did ask me to be her bridesmaid way back when I was skinny and wore too much bright lipstick and fake tan! And then we just kind of went our separate ways. But I thought, I am going to be in New Zealand and so I will look her up, I know she is somewhere near Auckland so I phoned her up and said I would pop over. Then I found out she is ten minutes away from the place I am volunteering...now to me that is very very very weird yet wonderful yet twilight zone worthy. Looie was just having a baby the week I got here and now she has had a baby girl (another one! he he) a ten pounder, who is yet to be named at time of writing, well she is only about 5 days old, parents need a bit of time when they have run out of names on there first 5 kids, especially as 4 of those have already been girls!!! And so I got a lone of Rachel from works bicyle and cycled the 15 minutes from the 'farm' to the centre she was 'resting' in. And so I got to see my old friend and her new beautiful baby at the same time.

Looie and Bradley, Emma, Bethany, laura, megan, Seth and (no name!) seem to be in the perfect place for their family, they are very blessed. They have a gorgeous farm with chooks and coos and acres and a swimming pool and a granny flat (actually another great big house!) It has been wonderful to spend some time with the family and get to know them again...who knows if thats going to ever happen again! I am just happy to get this opportunity, and also to laugh with Bradley and Looie as they look so tired sometimes having such a big brood of children. I think I will send Atti over to help, she knows what its all about with all her family (see my last blog entry to understand why I wrote this!).

Well, congrats to the James family and also to Granny And Grampa McCallum and Auntie Sara!

ps after only about 6 or 7 days the child was given a name...Phoebe Rose, how beautiful x
