the pics look so fantastic it makes me want to jump on a plane and come see it all for myself.
YOur journey is great to read, very interesting but i have to admitt I can't wait to see you again and hear all about it from you...x

I came across this next bit in a book and it made me think of you and our friendship so I thought I'd share it with you...

Some friends stand out like islands in the ocean of our memory. We don't visit them, but we know they are there. Solid, enduring features of our world. A postcard arrives like a message in a bottle. We realise we haven't seen them, spoken to them for months, years even. We know when we meet again, with cries of surprise and apology, that we will fall easily into our old intimacy.

Can't wait to see you again ya tart...Enjoy the rest of your trip and have a safe journey home..
