Hi, my name is Sylvia and welcome to my Travel Journal! Here, you'll be able to follow an account of my travels and the work i'm involved in. Enjoy!

Thanks to Dave B for setting this up for me, I am so very grateful! For those of you who are interested...I am about to live my dream by going travelling and volunteering my way around the world. I am currently a youth worker in Glasgow for the city council in the Easterhouse Area. I have wanted to do something like this for a long time and I think it just kinda felt right recently and so all of the research I have done over the last few years and the info I have accumulated will be put to good use!

I will let you all know about the web sites I found useful and about some of my preparation, I will do this over the next few weeks. Then, if you are interested I will be keeping you updated on my discoveries! I will be leaving for my first port of call on September 7th - that will be India (mainly Bangalore and Kerala).
